About
Kaylee Weeks is a ceramic artist based in Petaluma, California. Kaylee earned her Bachelor of Arts in Ceramic Arts from Sonoma State University in 2019. Her interest in ceramics began with an internship with Peter Shire at Echo X Park ceramic art studio in Los Angeles, California in early 2015. She began to pursue a degree in ceramics at university and discovered her passion for pottery and sculpture. Now working from local Petaluma studio Kickwheel, her work emphasizes an interest in both functional pottery as well as sculptural ceramics. Her whimsical mug handles and glaze work gives her functional work a sense of playfulness, while her sculptural pieces focus on minimalism and balance.
